Hotel American is easily reachable from the PARKING AREA, from the RAILWAY STATION or from the Marco Polo AIRPORT.

Hotel American is located in a residential area, very close to the Grand Canal, near the 'Accademia di belle Arti', the 'Guggenheim Museum', the 'Church of S. Maria della Salute', 'S. Mark Square', and the 'Rialto Bridge'.
You can get off directly in front of our Hotel thanks to the private landing-place for gondolas and motor-boats expressely reserved for our customers
 

PARKING (Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto Island)
 
You can leave your car in a large parking lot on the Tronchetto Island, at the end of the bridge across the lagoon; the special parking fee is of 20.000 italian lira for each 24-hour or part thereof. At Piazzale Roma, you can park your car either at the Garage Comunale or Garage San Marco. Then you can reach our Hotel using public (Vaporetto) or private (Taxi) means of transport.
You can take n° 82 vaporetto and get off at the 'Accademia' stop (N° 12). Then on foot you will reach our Hotel (only 2 minutes)
 
You can take a private water-taxi that will bring you directly in front of our Hotel; the service costs approximately 80.000 italian lira for two persons including luggage.
 

RAILWAY STATION (S. Lucia)
 
If you arrive by train,you can reach our Hotel using public (Vaporetto) or private (Taxi) means of transport.
You can take n° 82 vaporetto and get off at the Accademia stop (N° 12). Then on foot you will reach our Hotel (only 2 minutes)
 
 You can take a private water-taxi that will bring you directly in front of our Hotel; the service costs approximately 80.000 italian lira for two persons including luggage. 
 

INTERNATONAL AIRPORT (Marco Polo)

Once you've landed to the the Venice's International Airport (Marco Polo) you can take the bus (direction Piazzale Roma - A.C.T.V. or A.T.V.O. - you can buy the ticket by the box in the hall), or you can use the water-bus service connecting the airport to Lido and San Marco Square
In addition, you will always find a water-taxi available to take you into Venice for 130.000 italian lira (for two persons including luggage)
 
Once you've arrived in Piazzale Roma, you can take the n° 82 vaporetto (there is the possibilty to buy from ACTV ticket office a special ticket valid for 24 hrs., 3 days or one week) and then get off at the 'Accademia' stop (N° 12). Then on foot you will reach our Hotel (only 2 minutes).
